The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) is an organisation that supports our school and our community.
It is best known for its fundraising effort that helps improve the school environment and resources, and ultimately benefits our children. To date the PTA has raised funds to finance new playground equipment, plants and trees in the school garden, wet weather play equipment in the classroom, contributions to school trips, and the art mosaic by the reception office. The PTA liaises closely with the Head teacher, Mrs Kodjovi-Stapp, to ensure we are all working towards our shared vision and goal for the school.
The PTA also has an invaluable social function. It gets all the members of our friendly community together, acting as a link between home and school, between staff, carers and parents, and also between the English and bilingual streams.
We are an entirely voluntary organisation and always welcome new volunteers. So get in touch, come to a meeting, tell us what you want, get involved!

Class reps play an invaluable role in providing the link and liaison between the PTA and parents. By being in close contact with parents from their class, class reps are able to support the PTA in passing on key information and gathering their support.
One of the important roles of the class reps includes coordinating the class stall/activity for the annual Winter Fair.
If your class does not have a class rep, would you consider becoming one?
We welcome all suggestions as to what the PTA can do or work towards, please come and find us, leave a note for us at reception or send us an email at [email protected].
Do you believe in our work and want to help improve the learning environment of your children, but you are lacking time to get directly involved? We encourage you to show your support to the PTA through donations. If we could persuade all those who can afford £1 per week to help by setting up a standing order (that’s £4.33 a month), we could dramatically improve our fundraising. The account details are below:
